To Scrooge or Not To Scrooge

Charles Dickens’ Christmas Carol tells the story of a wealthy but miserly old man named Ebenezer Scrooge. It was written to remind us that a full life is not found in self-service, but in helping those who are less fortunate.

Like Scrooge, we mistakenly believe that we’re self-made men. We have forgotten the many people who helped us out along the way. If we can read this blog, a teacher taught us; if we are alive, our parents made it happen and if we are working or have worked, somebody somewhere gave us a chance.

Driver, if you’re thinking that life hasn’t been kind to you; perhaps it’s your perception that needs adjusting. Don’t be a scrooge! Contact us. We’d be happy to help you turn it around. Comment here.
