As a truck driver, being present at all of your family functions is very difficult. In fact, being present is not really what it’s all about when it comes to your family relationships. That’s because even though someone is physically present, they may be so preoccupied that it’s as if they’re “not there”, if you know what I mean. Give your family your presence by showing your interest and love for them even though you are not at home. Call them up just to find out how they are doing or to let them know that you love them. Generally speaking, your family understands why you can’t be there all the time. Your attention or presence is really what they need. Comment here.
