Is Gentleness Contagious?

My grandmother always used to tell me to “mind my manners.” At the time it didn’t hold much water with me, but as I grow older I understand that she was saying so much more. To mind one’s manners means to show gentleness. Out on the road, we all have seen so much cruelty, harshness or rudeness that it can make our heads spin. Many people seem to lack a gentle or mild disposition. What if the gentleness were contagious? If you act in a gentle way today to everyone you meet, maybe someone else will “catch it” and do the same. Gentleness could spread throughout this industry because of your actions. Now, wouldn’t that be great thing! Comment here.
